I've been working in the games industry as a freelance illustrator and character designer for about 4 years, working mostly on mobile titles while wearing many hats as a general artist. At times I've been tasked with creating 3D models, other times with animation rigs, but the bulk of my work has been character design, concept art and 2D asset creation. I currently work with Periodyc Studios LLC as a contractor, acting as their Art Director and Lead Character Designer for their flagship title "T Is For Guilty".
I've worked on a very diverse range of titles in my career, ranging from beat-'em-ups to party games to music and rhythm, and I've been asked to produce art in a very wide range of visual styles. My portfolio is a reflection of my flexibility and range, as well as my willingness to try new things and push my creative limits.
I was hired on as a texture artist, but my primary duties also included concept art, icons, and the creation of 2D/3D art assets for gambling and traditional entertainment software. I had the pleasure of working with an immensely talented team to tackle challenging schedules and unique concepts.
My job titles with Periodyc are for their current game project, "T Is For Guilty". My duties include researching technology and tools for the art team, creating character and enemy designs for the game, occasionally illustrating promotional work, and maintaining the game's aesthetic and approving art assets provided by the art team. This is my studio name, which I use to sell goods at conventions, such as prints, buttons and other physical goods.
